Craft Taffy Retreat 2013 - Part 1

Every retreat needs a theme.
And ours was no exception.
I am a
Sewing Machine!

We gathered in the beautiful, woodsy,
lakeside retreat of McCall, Idaho.
An amazing cabin with
plenty of room for sewing.

Sewers were greeted by lanyards
on a big polka-dot fabric wrapped
 Dr. Seuss tree.

Even before everyone arrived,
we had plenty of sewing machines

Even in cookie form :).

Stacey, our incredible chef,
kept us well fed.
Soup and rolls welcomed us on
 a cool Wednesday evening, along
with chocolate mousse.

Leela led a fun
 exchange of "Love Gifts",

just a way to get to know
everyone a little better.

It was great to meet new friends and
 renew last year's acquaintances.

to be continued......
