ReplyDeletesUGAR COOKIES HOT CHOCOLATE!
ReplyDeleteSeasons Greetings, I hope you and your family are enjoying all the excitement! :)
ReplyDeleteAs I sit here taking a short sewing break,I ask myself why I am in this position of being tired, rushed and generally not able to fully enjoy the Christmas "Joy".I start my Christmas gift planning in January with great intentions and made several great starts that ended up in the UFO pile. Along with a few changes in plans and a brain stall for awhile, I really did not accomplish a lot. So now I sit her less than two weeks til Christmas sipping my hot chocolate and looking at the clock wondering how this happened. Is it only me? Happy Holidays everyone.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see I'm not the only one "behind". Thank heavens for little ones that keep us in the Christmas mood.

Love the colors - bright and cheerful! Thanks and Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteA Mixed bag usually is a nasty phrase where a devil of a strorm is throwing everything at us simultaneously, but with that name it defintely isn't so for this fabric line! How lively and cheerful, nothing stormy about those colors.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas. Jane
I'm almost ready for Christmas-just a few more things to do.

Peggy
peggy_verdongibbs@att.Welcome to our great group of stitching, quilting and sewing ladies - we hope
you enjoy it here with us. We are happy to have you join our group, Margie.
We make lap quilts, walker/wheelchair bags, tote bags, therapy pillows,
bookmarks, and greeting cards. We give our gifts throughout the year.
We have some quilt databases currently open for stitching squares: What Are
Little Boys Made Of, Ballerinas, Patriotic, and Autumn, but if you want to
stitch a non-themed square for a card, tote bag or pillow, that is okay too. We
are also stitching small Valentine pieces to be made into cards for next year.
There is an album called "Mixed Bag" and you can stitch whatever you like to
stitch to be made into a tote, pillow, book cover, etc. Bookmarks for seniors
and children are always welcome, too. If you enjoy sewing, you might want to
help make some of the totes.
Please review the files, "How to Get Started" to get acquainted with our group.
The photo section is a great source of viewing what we are currently making and
what we've done in the past. There is a link on the left called Donation Photos
of Years 2007, 8, 9,10, 11, and 12. We also have a Facebook site where you can
see many photos.
Any questions are welcome - please don't be shy about asking. We don't know what
members are having trouble with unless they tell us. I live in Pensacola, FL,
with my husband, two Shih-tzus and one cat. I've been cross stitching for 30+
years.
Love, Peggy (co-owner)
