I've been reliving my days in the 70's. Cruising in an RV belting out, "Hey, did you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world?"
My dad was a little bit country.
I was 10. I was impressionable.
I spent my fair share of time in roller rinks and nothing says, smoke and smelly skates like, "Brandy, You're a Fine Girl".
I play the piano. At 12, I knew that I was meant for the county Fairgrounds not Carnegie Hall. And let me tell you, I can give Debby Boone and Anne Murray, a run for their money. I'm pretty sure I sang "You Light Up My Life" 15 thousand times that summer. I think I need to Netflix this.
I remember making a potholder on a loom of bedded nails to the tunes of Kodachrome at Amy Ricecake's house. I wonder is she's on Facebook. :)
So if you're over 35 and would like to reminisce with me, feel free. Actual playlist is at the bottom of the blog. I promise, I'm only going to put the 'autostart' on today. Tomorrow, you'll have to go to the bottom to click the music.
OR shell out $150 and you too could be groovin' to the smoothest and most romantic music of the 70's. Tony Orlando said.
