We want to thank all our loyal readers for sitting through many painful mornings of mindless drivel. Like this and this. Well, it hasn't quite been 365 days of drivel but we've definately posted for 52 weeks. That's a lot of drivel and we know it is no small feat to read this and drink at the same time.
We're filling up a flat rate Priority Mail envelope for YOU, with all sorts of fabric goodies from ends of bolts and such.
A $60 value, a real stash builder!!
The winner might even get to have some say as to what they like!
Corrie will fill it to the brim, take it the max, the whole nine yards, stuffed like a turkey, fuller than a baby's diaper.....you get the idea, right?
The catch?? No catch. And for heaven's sake, don't go post about it on your blog. We want our regular joes to win!!!! Those of you who pop in on a regular basis.
I think there are 6 of us all together.
Leave a comment. I won't even make you jump through a hoop. I'm feeling generous tonight. But please remember, I read them all and I do enjoy the entertainment.
No pressure.
AND, if you would like an extra chance, for those of you with a blogger account, Follow us!
I know your mother always told you to be a leader, but in this case, I'm sure she would make an exception.
I will be choosing from the names of our followers as well as the comment names.
No random generator number thing-y this time.
I'll actually have to use my handwriting skills and write down names.
We will draw the winner on Taffy Talk Thursday!
How sad we shall be if we draw your name and have no way to get ahold of you.
But I'm pretty sure the other winner will thank you.
Get your thinking caps on!
I would like some Heather, some Denyse, some Tanya and some Sandi in my envelope please...I promise to put them to good use, congrats!!
ReplyDeletek2hanson@msn.com
I feel like coming out of the woodwork during a giveaway is really poor timing. That's me, the queen of poor timing. Since I'm overseas, the flat rate envelope wouldn't make it to Australia.
ReplyDeleteI know I can't win. I wanted to say hi anyway and let you know that I'm lurking. I'm here, hiding behind the curtain!
what a fabulous giveaway! thanx for the chance
ReplyDeleteHaaappy Birthday to you!And you don't look a day older than you did when it all began (and that's always good)!

ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary! Enjoy peeping in daily to see what's new at Quilt Taffy. What would I like in my envelope...I think it would have to be O-Cherrry-O, or something cheerful and snappy for a kitchen table topper. But anything that you could stuff into that envelope would be loved and given a good home. Congrats again and thanks for hosting such a fantastic giveaway.
ReplyDeleteskeeler@hughes.net

Happy Blogiversary, birthday and Monday to the first blog I check every single day o' my life. My name is Vanessa, and well I just think you two are the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas, the dog's walking shorts, the monkey's elbows, the elephant's capris, and the butterfly's proboscis. But I could be biased. LOVE YOU!!!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations on a great blog. I check most everyday . Never won except one thing that I already had so I declined. Hope you had a good trip. Linda Gerig
ReplyDeleteOh. My. Goodness. Do you have any idea how much willpower it is taking for me NOT to post this on my blog? Okey-dokey, then, I'm putting my own name in the hat for a change. I have biggo holes in my stash in the purple and yellow regions and would be thrilled to have some assistance filling them. By the way, Taffy Talk rocks. I read you every day, and I have never noticed any drivel!
ReplyDelete*hugs*

Happy 1st Anni-Blog Day to YOU!!! I absolutely love ready your blog and drooling over the fabrics that you post about! eww . . I know, but you can't fondle your laptop because you could hit the sleep mode button (talking from experience!!) Keep up the great work!!

ReplyDeleteI subscribe to you on Bloglines, and it says that there are 33 subscribers just on Bloglines. I'm off to follow you on Blogger too, if that gives me an extra chance! Woo Hoo!!
Happy Happy Anniversary! And hey, some of us like drivel you know, especially with our coffee in the morning.. :D
ReplyDeleteAnd I just recently found out that subscribing and following are not the same. I've been a subscriber for a while, so do I count? Or not? :D Yes, no, maybe so :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary! I'm not gonna sing though cause my blog-singing voice is terrible! I would be overjoyed at whatever you put in the envelope! My husband sounds like a politican lately, and no, I don't mean the empty promises part. You see, he seems to preface every conversation as follows: "With these tough economic times, we need to cut back". He means fabric too. WHAT!!! Can you even imagine my withdrawal symptoms? It's been two weeks since I made a purchase ladies! TWO WEEKS!! I'm seriously thinking of switching political parties. Men really are from Mars . . . and obviously they don't have fabric on Mars. And you can even put the full diaper in the envelope. Yes, I am that desperate.
ReplyDeleteAll those pictures of fabric have me drooling. I was about to post a, "will work for fabric" sign on my blog, but winning some would be even better. Happy Day!!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog-o-versary. What a great giveaway. I'd love to win it!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great giveaway! It's so nice of you to do something like this. Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeletei would like all of it in my envelope please, just squish it all in. Do i get bonus points for already being a follower?
ReplyDeletecodiandtim@gmail.com

ReplyDeleteDes, thanks for the comment! FABULOUS blog! I'm always soooo impressed with talented quilters! I'm new to this blog, but am planning on being a regular! What would I like in the box if I won...a SURPRISE!
ReplyDeleteYour blog has been a pleasure to read every week! It keeps me informed of all of the new lines coming out and actually what they look like. That is a bonus. I do remember the one week though, when one lady was joking with Des and not knowing she was joking, did quite a bit of dissing. The mother hormones started to rage and I was mad. How dare someone dis a site that I received so much pleasure reading. Later I found out it was friendly teasing and all was well. Keep writing. It fills me with great joy! Thanks you guys! Karen
ReplyDeleteI'd like it all please! Well I can hope can't I? I get nearly giddy with the thought of finding an envelope with such fun in it. Happy Anniversary! Thanks for the inspiration and joy I find when visiting here!
ReplyDeleteAlready a follower..... Love you gals.... However I am a bit ticked.... You have gotten my family (and me) addicted to Coco Moco bars..... OMGOODNESS. I think I;ve gained 10 pounds.....
ReplyDeleteHappy Blogiversary!!
ReplyDeleteDrivel?? What drivel? I never noticed any. You sighted the MAMMA MIA is My HSM post?? That was one of my favorites! I mean where can you go for quilty godoness and Pierce Brosnan?
I think you know I have been a follower for quite a long time (although I think anyone in law enforcement uses the phrase 'stalker' :o ). Come on! I start my online day with a little Taffy. I just now figured out how to show in my profile that I am a follower (stalker) so it is all official now (isn't that like leaving fingerprints at the scene??)
Ohhhh, in my box of goodies please include fabric, lots and lots of purdy fabric and some selvedges and maybe some JUMBO ric rac and let's see, how about one of those little Pieced Tree Table Runner patterns. :D
Fun giveaway girls. Here's to many many more years of your blog posts!
BTW- I have NO IDEA what song you opened this post with?? :S
Yay. Happy Anniversary. I love reading your blog. I wish you ladies lived closer because you always look like you're having so much fun, making life awesome. I'm in love with all fabrics bright and beautiful (heather bailey, anna marie horner, amy butler...and everything in between).
ReplyDeleteIf it weren't for you ladies, I probably wouldn't have wanted to see Mama Mia...so I have you to thank for getting all those songs stuck in my head all the time, and for my two year old always singing the title song. You are great! (yay I am a follower too... I've had you in a reader forever, and just put myself as a follower).
spondah(at)aol(dot)com

ReplyDeleteWow, is it just me or has the last year gone by fast? I think I have been unofficially following you guys ALMOST from the get go. I had stopped by a few times, but I think I became a true regular when you guys were posting gawky pictures of each other just for kicks. I laughed so HARD! Happy Bloggiversary – you ladies ROCK!!!
ReplyDeleteDes - Anytime you want to swap those vintage sheets I’m game.

Mama Mia, 70's songs, you made me realize I need to learn to crochet and that I need high speed in the worst way so I can view Taffy T.V. You keep me in stitches every time I read. Literally.
ReplyDeleteHere's to many more painless mornings of non-drivel filled posting!
I would love to have anything you've got! Yay for fabric stashes. Mine is currently in residence on my kitchen table until I beg, borrow or steal a sewing machine.

ReplyDeleteWell, what a great give away! And thanks for inviting me to the party. ~Elaine
ReplyDeleteI want my envelope to be a magic stretchy envelope...a bottomless pit (oh wait, that seems to be my sewing room)--I've recently cut back on my work hours, the good news is now I have time to sew, the bad news is now I have less money to spend! *LOL* Sewing does tend to bring out the A.D.D. in me!
ReplyDeleteI blame my sister for showing me the difference between "cheap" fabrics and "quilt shop" fabrics. Like a true addict I just can't seem to get enough!! Although I must confess that when I'm to walmart I tend to stop at their remnant bin whenever I can *hehehe!
Anything is absolutely fabulous! Amy, Heather, Sandi, you know what I like. Congratulations to you both - you always make me smile!
