  1. Holy smokes you two are evil! The vintage baby kit is my favorite baby quilt ever and now you've tempted me to make another with such cute colors. I already have one down and another in the works and now I want to get one more- sheesh.
They are so addicting, one might say Rocktastic even! I'll just have to keep having babies I guess ;o).

  7. I am so scared to make this one! I imagine all my squares shifting and it coming out all crooked and gimpy. I know you appreciate the love/hate relationship with the seam ripper lol. I have two kits to make this pattern with as a baby gift for a friend of mine and it looks like it will work up fairly quickly. Any tips??

  8. Just follow the directions. I don't remember what the directions say, but I glue stick my squares to the background. I don't like all the pins. also, the beauty of the quilt is even with big boo-boo's,, it kind of all comes out with the wash, if you know what I mean. It's a raggy quilt and very forgiving. Mine never stayed perfectly straight in line and they are still darling.

Go for it!!! You can do it!!

  9. Ok, I may seriously give quilting a try now...I absolutely love the colors. And it looks as though I can quilt it myself. How big is 40"x40", is this just a throw blanket size or bigger?

  19. I love how the quilt looks finished. But after making 2 for twins I will never ever EVER make this again. I know I've said that before. But yikes. Not my kind of quilt.
