Sheet Fat Quarter Bundles

Whether you're in the woods or on the beach,
it's time to break out the picnic blankets!!
A quilt made from old sheets is just the right weight!!

I want to make this zigzag one next, from Evelyn!!

(check out her sew mama sew giveaway!!! Photo from Evelyn)

You can easily make this with the same technique that is shown in the above pattern, you will just 'set' it a little differently than what is shown here.

Happy Picnic-ing!

  1. That zig zag one rocks! I haven't used the old sheets yet, but I'm itching to! I hope everything is going well for you guys! Oh, and Walt said he missed you guys and was wondering when you'd be back. :)

  3. I love the look of the vintage sheeting. I'm quilting a yellow and white zig-zag quilt right now and I love how it looks! That multi-color quilt is really pretty, too. Maybe I'll have to do one like that, too!

  6. I've always loved the zig zag one and I love your one just as much. I'm glad someone is selling FQ of the sheets, I might have to indulge at some point.

  11. Such great colors and patterns. I love how they are light and airy! My goal was to start a zig zag after the wedding.. so it's after the wedding and I MUST start it now.. and the use of my new quilter will make it so much more perfect..
    Carry on with your awesomeness!

  13. Your quilt top is awesome...and I love that zig zag one too! I really need to get on the ball! I've been thinking about cutting into my sheet stash and selling a few sets on Etsy as well - you know, to try & justify my buying SO many in the first place. I just need to make that quilt first!
