ReplyDeleteToday is my mama's birthday. She went to heaven in 1997. I owe everything I learned about sewing to her. She taught me to make doll clothes and piece quilt tops as a kid. She would be amazed to see all of the beautiful quilts these days. She used scraps people gave her, and only bought the cheapest of materials, but she still ended up with pretty quilts.
ReplyDeleteMy feet are cold. I need to fold laundry. I feel like baking something. I like those solid quilts. I have two quilts that I need to bring schedule time on the long arm for finishing. I'd sew with Carla today if we lived close enough.

ReplyDeleteI went to my 3rd florist consultation for my upcoming September wedding yesterday and finally realized that my floral budget was way too small. This is what happens when you never buy flowers... I really don't want to go to a U Pick flower farm and pick them myself on the day of my wedding, so I guess this means I'll have to increase my budget?
