Finished

 Yeehaw!
Look at us!
2 posts in one week and neither is a giveaway!
From this

to this....
This cute little quilt is part of my fabulous bartering system
I have going with a friend.
And now my friend is having grandchildren
and you know what that means???
More hair color for me!!!
The new mama requested the colors and gave me an old quilt of hers that had a WAY harder circular thing going on so this is my interpretation of her quilt. :)
It's raggy.
I'm loving it.
Awesome yellow fabric here.
I've also been on a binding streak.
Can I just tell you how much I love
putting my new little label on the backs???!!!

Now it just needs a name and I'm done!
Any suggestions??

  1. It reminds me of those helicopters you spin in your hands! Or maybe spinning daisies.

  5. Love your quilt! The fabric by your label reminds me of cotton bolls, so I'd incorporate "Cotton" into the name.

  6. What a gorgeous little quilt. What about calling it "windmill"? Will you sell any fabric cuts and a pattern? I would so buy it!

  7. it looks like a perfect summer quilt! Hm....how about Petal Pushers? Just in case you're not old enough--pedal pushers are what they called capri pants because you could wear them and they wouldn't get caught in your bike chain (ah! the joys of summer!). Petal pushers is a pun on that!

  23. Hey Des - I'm totally late, but just wanted to say that I love this quilt! And you should do a little tutorial for how you made it. :-) I love the bartering idea too - that's the best way to go!

  24. I love that but I'm too chicken or old school to do the rough edge thing. Darn me.
