Two years ago I started on a guilt trip
Well, I finally arrived.
All of those stinkin' scraps have currently made
TWO of these maverick star beauties.

Plus I have plenty of scraps for too many more.
Stats (for CJ) :
9" finished block
Vertical sashing cut 2 1/2"
53" x 72" finished size
Tutorial for maverick stars here.
Another wedding quilt finished!

  3. It's beautiful! Did you blur out the feet at bottom? It makes it looks like a ghost is holding up the quilt! :)

  5. fab, fab, fab! this motivates me to jump into a serious Maverick Stars Scraps quilt. What if I just did the points as I was making other quilts? Start with a stack of bkgd squares always by my machine and I stitch on the points as I make scraps??? I might be having an O Scrap epiphany!

  13. Looks beautiful!! Off topic: I'm wondering if you might be able to give a little advice. I'm a pretty new quilter and want to upgrade from my simple Singer sewing machine. I'd like something that just sews smoothly (is maybe quieter than my current one) and can handle home quilting of larger projects. Thanks in advance for any suggestions you might have!! :)
